The current record is 37. So far today the wifi has cut out 12 times, including 7 times in an hour. Looks like today is going to beat 37 :(

You ought to complain on the Virgin Media Community (and blame James_W for the issue as well!).

Get your SIM going and use 4G tethering - 25GB full speed data for £26 is an offer I wouldn't refuse, especially as you can use it for tethering.

:yep:

Seems like it'll just be second place today though, unlikely to reach 37 now. It's on 20.

Get a sim from there and get the £18 goodybag - that'll keep you going!

Here you go then Kyx :)

Get one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222508741585 (not as cheap as Gumtree but still reasonably priced), get a Giffgaff SIM from my affiliate link (with the £18 9GB goodybag) and you're all set :) If you post on the Giffgaff Community as well (General Discussion, Forum Games, Help & Support) your usage will be very cheap or even free.

35 so far today

And my TED Talks video has taken over ten minutes to buffer and it's still only buffered by less than a second

Complaining on TBAAJ isn't going to resolve it.

Complaining on Virgin's community might get the point across.

Switching to a different provider long term (i.e. Sky), or using an alternative approach (such as 4G tethering short term, or using a 4G router and a 4G SIM short to medium term) is likely to result in a good and effective solution. :yep:

But I'm not spending any money until I get to uni because they say you should arrive with £200 to £500 and I only have £88

The video has taken over 35 minutes now and the wifi ha cut out 78 times today, so I'm gonna see if I can watch it on YouTube instead of the TED Talks app
