EE Power Bar recall

Postby spotify95 » December 21st, 2015, 6:22 pm

Just found out that the Power Bars that EE were giving out to its customers earlier this year have had to be recalled, see below:

BBC link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-35119550

Digital link: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2123313

DM link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/news/a ... -move.html

If you've got one of these things, STOP USING IT!

edit: Someone's selling one of these on eBay! They're a fire hazard!

Can we make James_W pay for all recall related costs? Additionally if it's actually caused fire damage to any property, can we bill him for the damage caused?

Imageeriously, life's too short to be worried about retards on an internet forum. :eek2: :eek3:

You want to have a look at this BBC link to see how serious the issue is with these EE Powerbars:

Yes It has caused fire problems and has caused some nasty injuries.
