Big TSR Shake Up!

Postby spotify95 » April 20th, 2019, 10:51 am

Noticed a bit of a shake up regarding the TSR structuring of members now:

Community Assistants are now known as "Forum Helpers"

Support Team members are now known as "Volunteer Team"

Section Leaders are now "Volunteer Section Leaders"

The Community Team is now known as "Community Staff".

I believe that everything still remains the same, though with more emphasis that Support Team members are volunteers and should not be dealing with moderation stuff, and that everything should be directed to the "Community Staff"?
Also emphasizes the highly limited role that Community Assistants used to, and still, have - since they are only "helpers" and therefore can't really do much until promoted.

Official thread regarding these changes (made by Puddles): https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showth ... ?t=5887224

Who are the specialist teams on TSR? https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/help/w ... ams-on-tsr

For a moment, I thought they had gone ahead with their plans to replace all the emoticons with crap ones like they hinted they would last year!

Are they all still using the same color codes, ie purple for volunteer team, blue for volunteer section leaders etc?

Also, do you remember when they made a similar shakeup to the now ex-CA/ST/SL names shortly before I lost my original account on there?

Imageeriously, life's too short to be worried about retards on an internet forum. :eek2: :eek3:
