SDMB: New subscription rates

Yes, you guessed it, the prices for subscriptions are increasing.
Are the SDMB in a spot of financial shit then? I guess it has something to do with (a) intrusive adverts that open new tabs and/or malware (and therefore having to use Ad Blockers) or (b) banning genuine users unfairly from their forums even though they've done nothing wrong!
This is the last place I'd give any of my money. The SDMB doesn't deserve a single cent. I'd rather burn my money away - or donate it to James_W (from Vigin Media), than give it to this bunch of halfwits. Particularly when Ed Zotti is still on the team (he really should be booted off ASAP).
