Scientists have created a lithium-ion battery that can be used in household appliances and never catches fire or explodes even when punctured multiple times with a nail.The batteries use a solution of water and salt as their electrolyte. :)

Samsung should have used something like this in their Note 7s so that they didn`t catch fire :p
