Re: CTAM:Count to a million - let's beat the other forums to it!

I bet you were beaten up at school for being the class nerd right? :p I wish you could have been my maths teacher. :( 18827. :D Haha, no. Despite the fact I go to a boarding school (hence, more time for such things to occur), I was never really beaten up or bullied for being the 'class nerd' (also ...

Re: CTAM:Count to a million - let's beat the other forums to it!

Just a question; having read the opening post of this thread (properly this time!), by what is constituted as a number? Obviously on a linear scale, 1=1, but what if we had a logarithmic scale where n = 10^(n-1)? So 1 would still be 1, but 2 would be 10, 3 = 100, etc. I saw no clarification on this ...

Re: CTAM:Count to a million - let's beat the other forums to it!

Sorry, I am not greatly interested in the going ons of television dramas / soaps / repetitive series in which the same story is repeated every episode, but is just told in a different way.... I didnt really stay long enough on there to find out more, but each to their own, I guess.... 18812 I don't...

Re: CTAM:Count to a million - let's beat the other forums to it!

It's a rule like on the TSR version of this thread, five maximum per poster. Are you a member of Digital Spy forums by the way? 18800. :p Never heard of the 'Digital Spy forums', but if the name is anything to go by, I am not really sure what I'd use it for... Hang on, I shall look it up... 18806 (...

Re: CTAM:Count to a million - let's beat the other forums to it!

Good to hear an adverse encouragement of free speech! May I ask, is there a reason you seem to be posting number in just groups of 5? 18799 EDIT: I found it, sometimes I need to check the first post.... Also, sorry for my many spelling and grammatical errors from me (on here), I am using a 5 year ol...

Or if one of the 'Guinness book of world records' invigilators points out that it would be an 'out-of-world record', as opposed to a world record....

Re: CTAM:Count to a million - let's beat the other forums to it!

So how did you find this place may I ask? 18788. :p I originally joined TSR, but quickly got bored by the massive influx of far too many things going on at once, some of which seemed to be posted by either uneducated or rather ignorant people, for example 'anyone who is an athiest is an idio...

Re: Do you think a degree in science should be required for....

In response to the original question, as posed by the OP, let my reply with a similar question. Do you require a degree for travelling by any other form of transport? As space travel becomes more possible, and within a more attainable reach to the general public (over the next few decades and couple...
